You must be at least 18 years of age to play our regular on-air trivia contests, unless otherwise stated by show host or management. Prizes that are set aside for pick-up by winners’ request will remain on-hold at our studios for pick-up for thirty (30) days. Prizes not claimed within the thirty (30) day time frame will be returned to eligibility if prizes are still valid. Prizes are subject to change without notice, based on availability. Gold Country 1320 and Kool Kat Oldies 1380 are not responsible for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Vermilion man dies in 3 vehicle crashBrian Engle 5/17/13
The Ohio Highway Patrol says 28 year old Dale Welty of Vermilion was killed late Thursday afternoon, when his car was struck head-on by a pick-up truck driven by 20-year old Christopher Dewitt of Elyria. Troopers say Dewitt's truck went left of center, sideswiped the rear of another car before it crashed into Welty's car. Dewitt, who was not wearing a seat belt, had to be flown to Metro Health Medical Ctr. in Cleveland. Twenty-five year old Nicholas Kidd of New London, a passenger, suffered minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
